Agricultural Botany Extension

i. Technical advice regarding agro techniques and cultivation of medicinal plants is given to needy farmers whenever required. Similarly, seedlings of medicinal and aromatic plants are being sold to needy farmers. The staff members use to deliver radio talks on various aspects of oilseeds, pulses, food grain crops and medicinal plants. The popular articles on technology and improved varieties of crops are being written by the staff members for benefit of students and farmers.

ii. The staff of this section also uses to render services to farming communities. The staff from this section also visiting problematic fields, as AD’s representative and attending farmers rallies.
