Agricultural Economics Research

The section has so far undertaken various research projects pertaining to cost of cultivation of important crops of this region, marketing of agricultural produce and working out economics of various systems, economics of milk production, sheep and goat rearing, organic farming, agricultural development and economics of co-operative processing units etc. Every year this section is allotted one research project by the Research Review Committee, MPKV, Rahuri.

This section has already completed and submitted the research project entitled “Economic Performance of Kolhapur / Sangli / Satara District Central Cooperative Banks Ltd. during the year 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11 respectively.
