As per ICAR Guidelines KOHA- Library Management software is in operation for whole library automation (i.e. Accession, Cataloguing & Circulation)
As per the ICAR directive, it is essential to implement KOHA – Integrated Library System Using open source software for whole automation of library. ICAR also decided to develop a union catalogue of the libraries among India with the help of KOHA. It is also suggested to develop a WEB OPAC (Web – Online Public Access Catalogue) to search the library documents. Basically, KOHA is open source software of library automation in Linux version

Internet Facility
The computer facilities consisting of Local Area Network (LAN) with 20 nodes are available at the central library for the use of UG-PG student and faculty members, 10mbps VPN (BSNL) internet lines are sanctioned for RCSM College of Agriculture Kolhapur Library. opening Hours – 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Availability of Wi-Fi – VPN BSNL Connectivity under NMEICT of 10 MBPS is provided in Library and campus
